Chloe is the most beautiful and striking long haired French Bulldog girl who was surrendered from a breeder to find her forever family. Chloe is two years old, has been spayed and ready to find her new home where she can be the centre of the universe and receive all the love and attention she craves. Chloe is the life and soul of any party, she is excited to greet people, loves fuss and other dogs and walks beautifully on a lead. Chloe never stops wagging her tiny tail and you could not be sad with a Chloe in your life. Chloe is long and lean for a Frenchie (we believe her striking eyes, colour and coat is a result of some cross breeding in her lineage), but she is the size and character of a typical Frenchie – fun, loving and sassy.
Chloe is fully vaccinated, up to date with her flea and worm treatment and microchipped. She will need some element of grooming and the long hair on her ears and bum keeping tidy and trimmed to prevent matting. Please do not apply for Chloe based on her stunning looks alone, consider if you can offer her the home she needs.
We are currently very busy and rescue spaces are extremely limited – PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE HOLIDAYS BOOKED OR ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO FINALISE THE ADOPTION IN GOOD TIME – we have a huge waiting list which we are constantly juggling as we hate turning away dogs in need. Please tell us about and breed experience on your application form. Whilst a loving home is SO important for a rescue dog, they will also need structure, routine, boundaries and long term commitment.
THE DOG YOU MEET AND TAKE HOME MAY NOT BE THE DOG YOU HAVE IN 6 MONTHS TIME – THEY CAN BE NERVOUS AND SHUT DOWN, TAKING TIME TO GAIN CONFIDENCE AND SHOW THEIR TRUE PERSONALITIES – THEY MAY PUSH BOUNDARIES AND BECOME HARD WORK BEFORE SETTLING FULLY. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU AREN’T COMPLETELY COMMITTED TO ADOPTING AND DOING EVERYTHING TO MAKE THE PROCESS WORK.
Age – 2 years old
Size – small, currently weighs 11kg and ideally will gain a little weight as she is naturally slender
Location – in Southport, Merseyside
Colour – white and brown with blue eyes
Microchip number and company – Chloe is chipped to us and the details can be moved over on a successful adoption
Known medical conditions – None
Known behavioural concerns – none identified in foster
Can be left alone – yes for a few hours with no issues, but will need to build up to this in her new home
Neutered – yes and recovering well, her stitches will be removed on 8th November
Live with other dogs – yes, Chloe lives with other dogs in foster and generally likes her own kind. She plays well with the other French Bulldogs but can be a bit too lively for the quieter dogs. She tends to like larger, male dogs the best.
Good with cats – not tested
Good with kids – Chloe can live with older children
Travelling in the car – good
Housetrained – yes, but may need reminding in a new environment
Lead walking – excellent, Chloe loves a walk and does not pull, she likes short sniffy walks the best and will need to gain some stamina for longer walks
Recall – too soon to be tested
Crate trained – yes but she is an expert at being able to open the door and let herself out
Current diet – Chloe eats everything, currently on a mixture of wet and dry twice a day with snacks. We will provide some of her food to her adopter so it can be phased over to her new diet if necessary
A video home check and a non refundable £450 adoption donation will apply – this goes back into our vet fund account to help other dogs in our care

Hutch is a very lucky Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was surrendered to Lancashire Police by his owner and who came very close to being put to sleep. Luckily the police officer dealing with Hutch reached out to us and we were able to take him in on an emergency placement just hours before being euthanised. He is possibly mixed with another breed as he has quite long and lean legs, but whatever his parentage, he is a very handsome boy.
Hutch is a laid back and gentle dog, he jumped straight out of the police van and came for a fuss, he loves a bum scratch and a treat and is very quickly bonding with his foster mum and greets her with a waggy tail. We do not have much history for Hutch other than he has not had the best start in life but has not lost his faith in people and adores human company. We can discuss more of his surrender to potential adopters. Hutch’s favourite thing is pottering in the garden and a sniffy walk. He hasn’t yet shown much interest in toys but it is still early days. On arrival he was very slim and lacking in muscle tone, which made him a bit weak and wobbly. After just a few days of good food and four meals a day we can already see a big change in his condition and personality. Hutch loves his food and eats everything put in front of him. Hutch would love to spend the rest of his days living a relaxed and laid back life in a quieter home. Hutch has met some of the Little Legs resident dogs with relaxed body language and a happy tail, we believe he has lived with another dog. He is the most beautiful tiger brindle colour, a mixture of brown and black stripes. Like all Staffordshire Bull Terriers he will make the most loyal and faithful companion.
We have castrated Hutch and he has had his first vaccination as we had no veterinary history for him. We will also cover his second vaccination with our vet in Southport in the cost of his adoption donation. Hutch has been flea and worm treated. Thanks to our generous supporters, Hutch will leave with two month’s worth of wet and dry food and a brand new collar and lead.

**CASPER IS IN LONG TERM FOSTER – HE HAD ONE MEET AND GREET ARRANGED – HOWEVER THIS WAS UNSUCCESSFUL AFTER HE GOT SCARED OF A LARGER DOG AND BECAME UPSET AND BARKY** This is such a shame for Casper as he is a very sweet and funny little dog, he thrives off human fuss and will do well with a confident handler who can take some time to teach him the world isn’t a scary place and he doesn’t need to make noise to warn other dogs away.
Tiny little Casper is a Maltese x Chihuahua and two years old. He has come into rescue after not getting along with the larger dogs in the house. Casper is a little unsure at the minute but quickly settling into his new routine and doing well. Casper does like the sound of his own voice and can be a bit yappy but responds when corrected. Casper is very small and will need a patient new owner who will allow him time to settle in and work on his confidence. We have restarted Casper’s vaccinations as they have lapsed, a second will be due by your own vet in two weeks time. Casper is eager to earn your affection and loves a cuddle. He would do best as an only dog or with another small, laid back friend. Casper can be fearful of larger dogs.
Size – tiny, Casper weighs approximately 3kg and is fully grown
Location – in foster in Southport, Merseyside
Colour – white

Known medical conditions – Casper does have fair, sensitive skin and can sometimes chew his paws, he has seen the vet with his previous owners who was not overly concerned. He has been fine in foster
Known behavioural concerns – Casper can be a bit yappy but we feel this can be worked on and he does settle
Neutered – yes and fully recovered
Live with other dogs – yes, Casper is in foster with other small dogs but could live as an only dog with the right human
Good with cats – Not tested
Good with kids – Casper would prefer a child free home as a little nervous, visiting children will be ok as long as they give him space
Travelling in the car – good
Housetrained – Casper is clean so far in foster, but may relapse with a change of circumstances
Lead walking – needs some confidence building but generally ok, he can bark at bigger dogs
