Vincent Van Gogh is the most handsome long haired French Bulldog, also known as a Fluffy Frenchie. Named Vincent (or Vinnie for short) as he had an injury at just a few hours old which partially severed his tiny delicate newborn ear. Despite the best efforts of the vet, the tiny sutures put in place did not hold on his delicate skin and his ear is now only partially attached. This does not affect Vinnie in any way, it is perfectly healed and now just gently flops to one side. We have discussed reattaching it with our vet but it was decided that the chance of success was low and it does not present any problems for him.
Vinnie is a real character and will never fail to make you smile. He is very playful and is large for his breed, so can sometimes over power the smaller dogs as he does like to play rough. He mixes well with all dogs and is currently living in foster in a large group, but he would feel happier as an only dog or maybe with one other female friend. He loves to play tug of war and then curl up on your knee for a cuddle. Vinnie is very striking and unusual, he is always stopped when on a walk for people to admire his lovely soft coat and beautiful amber eyes. He loves to go out and about for lunch with his humans and is very sociable. Vinnie would suit an active home.
Vincent did have an undescended testicle but this was fixed when he was castrated and he is fully recovered. he is up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatment and will be vet checked again before leaving.

Please tell us about and breed experience on your application form. Whilst a loving home is SO important for a rescue dog, they will also need structure, routine, boundaries and long term commitment.
