Beryl the French Bulldog

Beryl the French Bulldog

Beautiful Beryl is an 18 month old French Bulldog who is excited to find her forever home. Beryl was due to be part of a breeding programme but has been signed over to us prior to having puppies. We have spayed her and she is recovering well. Beryl has previous lived on a small holding in kennels so does have some learning about the world to do, she is timid but excited for human attention and fuss and very sweet natured. Beryl came with her litter sister Belinda and whilst they are friends they are not bonded and would actually be best separated – both are quite nervous and this energy is rubbing off on each other and making them both a little jittery. Beryl is a very healthy Frenchie, her skin, eyes and teeth are good and she is a lovely athletic build and will blossom into a wonderful companion. Beryl needs a special human who won’t rush her and give her time to settle in and gain some confidence living in a home environment. Beryl will freeze on a lead as not used to walks so will need someone patient and kind. Beryl can be an only dog with someone at home most of the time.

Beryl has been flea and worm treated and is fully vaccinated until March 2025.

We are currently very busy and rescue spaces are extremely limited – PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE HOLIDAYS BOOKED OR ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO FINALISE THE ADOPTION IN GOOD TIME – we have a huge waiting list which we are constantly juggling as we hate turning away dogs in need. Please tell us about and breed experience on your application form. Whilst a loving home is SO important for a rescue dog, they will also need structure, routine, boundaries and long term commitment.

Luna the Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Luna the Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Lovely Luna is a four year old full Staffordshire Bull Terrier (SBT) who is excited to find her retirement home. Luna has come from a small, professional home breeder and has now finished having her puppies and is looking for her forever family where she can start the next chapter in her life. Luna has been a wonderful mum to her puppies and now deserves the very best home. She is typical of her breed and thrives off human company, greeting everyone with a waggy tail and the signature Staffy smile. Staffordshire Bull Terriers are a firm favourite here at Little Legs, they make the most wonderful and loving companions and are full of personality.

Luna can be fussy with the dogs she likes, generally preferring humans, however she has met a number of other dogs in foster and seems to tolerate them ok however can be wary of other larger dogs out on walks. Luna would ideally like to be an only dog where she can lap up all the attention and bond with her new owner. You’ll never be lonely with a Luna in your life.

We have sight of Luna’s full vet history and there are no ongoing health concerns and she has recently been spayed and is now fully recovered. She does have some loose skin on her tummy from puppies and this will likely reduce with time after her surgery and exercise. Luna has had a restart of her vaccinations and is fully up to date with flea and worming. Luna would love to hear on your application forms about all the adventures she can go on – she would be the most perfect friend for lovely walks, outings to the beach and camping trips.

Whilst not a behavioural concern per se, her owner will need to keep this in mind so she is not put in situations which make her feel uncomfortable

Neutered – yes and fully recovered

Live with other dogs – possibly after controlled and slow introductions, Luna has lived with other Staffies and seems to prefer her own kind

Good with cats – Not tested

Casper the Maltese x Chihuahua

Casper the Maltese x Chihuahua

**CASPER IS IN LONG TERM FOSTER – HE HAD ONE MEET AND GREET ARRANGED – HOWEVER THIS WAS UNSUCCESSFUL AFTER HE GOT SCARED OF A LARGER DOG AND BECAME UPSET AND BARKY** This is such a shame for Casper as he is a very sweet and funny little dog, he thrives off human fuss and will do well with a confident handler who can take some time to teach him the world isn’t a scary place and he doesn’t need to make noise to warn other dogs away.

Tiny little Casper is a Maltese x Chihuahua and two years old. He has come into rescue after not getting along with the larger dogs in the house. Casper is a little unsure at the minute but quickly settling into his new routine and doing well. Casper does like the sound of his own voice and can be a bit yappy but responds when corrected. Casper is very small and will need a patient new owner who will allow him time to settle in and work on his confidence. We have restarted Casper’s vaccinations as they have lapsed, a second will be due by your own vet in two weeks time. Casper is eager to earn your affection and loves a cuddle. He would do best as an only dog or with another small, laid back friend. Casper can be fearful of larger dogs.

Known behavioural concerns – Casper can be a bit yappy but we feel this can be worked on and he does settle

Neutered – yes and fully recovered

Live with other dogs – yes, Casper is in foster with other small dogs but could live as an only dog with the right human

Good with cats – Not tested
