Little Hope is looking for her forever family who will love her unconditionally until the end. Hope came to Little Legs after her family went on holiday and left her in kennels, on their return home they didn’t go to pick her up and ignored all the messages trying to get in touch with them. Hope has had puppies before but she has been spayed by us and we have started her a course of vaccinations to get her ready for her new life.
Hope is initially a little worried but quickly comes round and is a giddy little girl who loves attention. She had a good bath on arrival and was very well behaved, she has had some training as knows how to sit and quickly settles in a fluffy bed in her crate. Hope is easy to be handled and responds well to praise and fuss. She is not phased by the other dogs in foster but can be a little sassy when food comes out, so we will feed her in her own space so she doesn’t feel rushed or hurried. Her coat is lovely and thick and she has a slightly longer muzzle than some Frenchies so her breathing should be a little easier. French Bulldogs and other flat faced breeds do have their own set of health issues, so please have a read up on these before applying. Potential health issues aside, Frenchies have the quirkiest personalities and are full of fun and adore human company. They make the most loyal and entertaining family dogs.
Hope was a superstar in the vet when she went to be spayed, she settled quickly in her crate and snoozed all morning, was happy to see everyone and generally a little gem. She will need one further vaccination in 2 – 4 weeks by your own vet to complete the course, then she will be covered for 12 months.
We are currently very busy and rescue spaces are extremely limited – PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE HOLIDAYS BOOKED OR ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO FINALISE THE ADOPTION IN GOOD TIME – we have a huge waiting list which we are constantly juggling as we hate turning away dogs in need. Please tell us about and breed experience on your application form. Whilst a loving home is SO important for a rescue dog, they will also need structure, routine, boundaries and long term commitment.
