Miles the ShihTzu x Poodle
Miles is a Shihtzu x Poodle boy who is looking for his forever home due to no fault of his own. Miles is a little anxious with his change of circumstances and he will need a dedicated owner who will allow him to settle in and gain his confidence without rushing him. Miles has lived as an only dog before and would be happiest as an only dog in his new home. Miles is used to regular hair cuts and these will need to continue. Miles has the cutest teddy bear face and is a very handsome fluffy boy.
Miles has already had one failed adoption after he started barking and growling at men in the home and visitors. His family did not feel they were able to deal with this and returned him to us. Miles loved sitting with women and going out walking with them, but he would refuse to go out with the male adopter and would actually sit down and refuse to move. It is something we feel that can be handled and worked on in a new home if you are confident and experienced, failing that a female only home with fewer visitors would suit him best. Miles loved to play with toys, was clean in the house and loved a cuddle but just not with men.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE HOLIDAYS BOOKED OR ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO FINALISE THE ADOPTION IN GOOD TIME – we have a huge waiting list which we are constantly juggling as we hate turning away dogs in need. Please tell us about and breed experience on your application form.
