Poppy the Miniature Poodle

Poppy the Miniature Poodle

Poppy is a kind and sensitive red Miniature Poodle who is retiring after being a breeding girl. Poppy loves humans like most poodles and will be the most loyal companion to her new adopter. She has found it quite hectic in foster with lots of dogs and is looking forward to a laid back household where she can relax and settle into a new routine. I have cleaned and plucked her ears and she is very accepting of this, this is something that will need to continue along with professional grooming. Poppy is very good with other dogs but could be an only dog in the right home. Poppy has the sweetest and most gentle energy about her, I can’t wait to see her cuddled up in her forever home.

We have restarted her vaccinations as they were not up to date and a second one will be due by your own vet in two weeks.

We are currently very busy and rescue spaces are extremely limited – Poppy is being neutered tomorrow, Tuesday 25th July 2023 and priority will be to be local adopters who would be happy to allow Poppy to finish recovering from her spay surgery with them. Her follow up vet check and removal of stitches would not incur any cost to her adopting owners – this would be due on 4th August at our vet in Southport.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE HOLIDAYS BOOKED OR ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO FINALISE THE ADOPTION IN GOOD TIME – we have a huge waiting list which we are constantly juggling as we hate turning away dogs in need. Please tell us about and breed experience on your application form.
