Luther the Miniature Dachshund

Luther the Miniature Dachshund

Little Luther is the happiest, waggiest boy who has come to Little Legs after his owner’s change of circumstances. Luther was a little nervous as first as had lived as an only dog and arrived in foster with a houseful of doggy friends, but he has quickly settled in. Luther is very exciteable and thinks every dog wants to play or be humped, but he is learning fast that it isn’t the best way to make friends and being much more respectful. Luther has been castrated by our vet and his humpy behaviour will hopefully settle over the coming weeks. His stitches will need to be removed in ten days, these can be done with our own vet free of charge or with the new adopter’s vet if people are able to adopter sooner. Slightly quicker adoptions mean we can take in the next dogs on our waiting list as we are very busy right now.

Luther can live as an only dog in the right circumstances, or with other small dogs. Luther is Kennel Club registered and his paperwork was passed over, but we do not generally forward this on to adopters. We are not concerned with pedigrees or names, as long as the dog is happy and healthy. Luther’s vaccinations had lapsed, so they have been recently restarted, a second one is due in the next couple of weeks. Luther is a typical Dachshund, loves a fuss and to play with his toys. He is very exited about all the adventures he will go on with his new family.
