Mouse the Miniature Dachshund
MOUSE IS CURRENTLY ON A TRIAL PERIOD WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER AND WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HER AT THIS TIME
Mouse the Miniature Dachshund girl has been in long term care of Little Legs and is looking for a very special home. Mouse is six years old and has previously been a breeding girl imported from America, she found kennel life very stressful and became quite anxious. Mouse is an ‘Isabella’ colour and struggles with her skin, we have been working on it in foster but her skin is very fair and her coat very fine. This breed and colour can be prone to alopecia and we would like potential adopters to be aware of this before applying. We regularly bathe her in medicated and soothing shampoo and she is very good having this done and being handled. Mouse adores humans and being out and about, she loves short walks and going in the car and is the most perfect lap dog. Mouse does get along with most dogs in foster, but has clashed with some other female Dachshunds and we feel she would suit being an only dog best. As she has been with us for such a long time, we are very attached to Mouse and would love to keep in touch with her new family. We have spayed Mouse, restarted her vaccinations and she has had a full dental and some teeth extracted. Mouse weighs 4kg so is a smaller sized Dachshund.
