Pixie the tiny Chihuahua
***PIXIE IS NOW RESERVED***
Tiny Pixie the Chihuahua is looking for a very special home, please read her profile fully before applying. Pixie came to Little Legs with her sister Mabel after a change in circumstances of her family. Pixie is 8 years old but still full of life and a typical diva like most Chihuahuas. She is very petite at less than 3kg and loves cuddles on the sofa, being carried like a baby and treated like a total princess. Pixie does suffer with mobility of her hind legs. She had luxating patellas on both sides which is common in small dogs, but she is not a candidate for surgery and whilst she walks a little funny, she is not suffering or in pain. Pixie has seen the vet who states her left side is more severe than the right, but she has adapted to this and still has a good quality of life. Pixie will never be a dog for long walks, but she enjoys a potter in the garden, short walks on grass and would make the most loving, affectionate companion. Whilst she came into our care with her sister Mabel, we feel they both have much different needs and would benefit from being rehomed separately. Pixie is the ultimate lap dog and loves to play with toys.
