Nellie the Bichon Frise X
Nellie is a five year old spayed female Bichon Frise X who is looking for her new home. Nellie’s owners circumstances have changed and they can sadly no longer keep her. Nellie is a very sweet girl who loves cuddles and snacks, she lives in foster with multiple other small dogs and gets on with them great. She can initially be a little nervous meeting new people and may bark, but this quickly settles. Nellie has a very curly coat and this needs professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. She has had this done from a puppy and is very well behaved. Nellie is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatment.
Nellie would love to live with other small, playful dogs – she could be an only dog in the right home, but generally we like our Little Legs gang to have a friend or two.

Good with cats – OK but may bark initially
Good with kids – Nellie can be a little excited meeting children, but could live with older dog savvy teens

Housetrained – yes but may need reminding in a new environment
Lead walking – Nellie loves going for a walk, but is strong for her size and can pull, she will need reminding of her lead manners
Recall – Good, may need practice around distractions
Crate trained – previously yes, but she now sleeps on the sofa at night
Current diet – twice a day; no observed allergies. Nellie eats a mixture of wet and dry food and we will provide enough to phase onto your chosen new brand
