Sid The Cockapoo
Sid is a very affectionate and loving standard sized Cockapoo, aged 7 years old. He loves one on one attention and is very loyal and loves to cuddle. Like most Cockapoos he absolutely thrives on human attention and company. With this in mind he does not enjoy being left for long periods. However he does settle as long as he has had a good walk and attention. Sid is crate trained and can be left on his own. We know sid’s history dating back to being a puppy, he has only had one previous home before arriving with us, however he doesnt enjoy the coming and going of different dogs and would be better suited to a quieter more stable environment.

Good with cats – Sid will tolerate cats
Good with kids – We don’t routinely rehome with young children (under 16) as most of the dogs who come to us have health or behavioural issues. However, Sid has lived in foster with children and is really good with children but we would prefer older dog savvy kids in the house.
Travelling in the car – travels fine in a car
Housetrained – Yes
Lead walking – Sid is good on a lead and loves going for a walk but can be excitable and pull. We walk him on a figure of eight and his behaviour is vastly improved.
Recall – Will need reinforcing but is generally very good as he can be exciteable and/or distracted
Crate trained – yes
Current diet – twice a day; no observed allergies.
