Prudence the French Bulldog
Pru has been in our long term care since January 2021 and is very special to us. She is a 6 year old blue female French Bulldog. Pru is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with her flea and worming treatments. Prudence is in our care with many other dogs and we feel she would do best as an only dog in the home, with someone with French Bulldog experience. Pru is one of the most affectionate Frenchies we have had in our care who thrives off human interaction and needs somebody at home most of the time. She is athletic for a Frenchie and loves going on walks and her behaviour on or off the lead is very good. Her recall is excellent. When Pru arrived she struggled with a bacterial gut infection. Upon recovering from this we found her prone to having an upset stomach. She is now successfully eating a hydrolised food which is approximately £60 for an 11Kg bag. We have had different food trials but this is the only food that suits her. The cost attached to this should be considerend when applying for Prudence. Pru is an ex-breeding girl who has transitoned to life in a family home extremely well. She is crate trained, loyal, loving and would make the most wonderful companion.

Good with kids – We don’t routinely rehome with young children. We would consider a home with older dog savvy teens
Travelling in the car – travels fine in a car
Housetrained – Pru is house trained but may need reminding in her new home
Lead walking – Pru walks very well on a lead
Recall – Pru has excellent recall
Crate trained – Pru will stay in a crate overnight and for periods during the day time
Current diet – twice a day. She currently eats Purina HA food which is widely available
Meal routine – twice a day
