Wilf the Cavapoo

Wilf the Cavapoo

Wilfred is a neutered male Cavapoo who turns two years old in July 2022. His Mum was a Cavalier and his dad a toy poodle although he is larger in size and approximately 12kg, so more like a Cockapoo in stature.
Wilfred was surrendered from a family home when they realised after lockdown they did not have as much time to give him as they would have liked.
Wilfred loves people and human company and so will need someone at home most of the time. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is still very playful. He loves to chase a ball and go for long walks.
Wilfred has no known medical or behavioural issues other than the usual Cavapoo traits – he is not a dog who can be left for long periods alone and he thrives off human attention. He can be a bit strong on a lead and will jump up to meet new people and for a fuss so will need someone confident to remind him about his good manners.
Wilfred will need regular professional grooming every 6-8 weeks with brushing and ear plucking at home, and this is something which should be considered by his new owners.
As a very small rescue we rely on our loyal adopters and regular supporters, therefore if they meet the adoption criteria then we will usually give priority to anyone who has adopted from us previously or been a long term supporter of us.
