Lulu the Pomeranian
Lulu is a beautiful two year old neutered female pomeranian. she was sadly surrendered by her previous owners due to some behavioural issues which they were finding difficult to manage. Lulu is looking for an experienced and confident new owner who is at home a lot of the time. Lulu has been in foster for two weeks and has made great progress, however will still resort to hiding if she feels stressed. If she is pushed, she will growl and become snappy. We believe this is fear based. She is very apprehensive and wary of children. Lulu walks well on a lead and is more confident out of the house. She is showing some signs of resource guarding in the home, including her bed and favourite people. This would also need to be managed.
Lulu is one of the most beautiful pomeranians we have ever seen with a beautiful coat and shows so much potential. She is already comfortable enough with her foster home to come for cuddles and just needs to find that special person to trust. She is in foster with other small dogs but has previously lived as an only dog and we think she would prefer that.
